CHANTILLY, Va. (Jan. 14, 2014) – BIA/Kelsey, advisor to companies in the local media industry, today announced the expansion of its analyst team with the addition of three new analysts: Abid Chaudhry has been named senior director of industry strategy and insight, and Meshach Cisero and Rebecca Weingartner have joined the firm as associate analysts.
Chaudhry will be responsible for leading client engagements and delivering high impact solutions for sales, business development, marketing and consulting/advisory teams. He will be tasked with integrating specific local media industry strategy and client operational objectives with business process understanding to drive clear solutions.

Chaudhry has previously worked for Transition Local Media Research; Talus Labs; AT&T and Intelligenx, specializing in local SMB digital advertising and marketing solutions including search, IYP, mobile and directory channels.
Meshach Cisero provides key industry insights on industry trends and conducts analysis of data from BIA/Kelsey’s Local Commerce Monitor™ and Consumer Commerce Monitor™ studies. He brings relevant industry experience in roles at top data and analytics companies, including IBM and Costar Group.
Rebecca Weingartner also performs analysis of data from BIA/Kelsey’s Local Commerce Monitor and Consumer Commerce Monitor studies, blogs about industry trends and research findings, and works across analyst, research and competitive benchmarking teams to deliver data that fulfills client inquiries and deliverables. Prior to joining BIA/Kelsey, Weingartner was a contractor in the Global Market Research Department at Zoetis (formerly a business unit of Pfizer).
